Oxnard Airport Heaving Asphalt Repair
The City Of Oxnard Municipal Airport was recently repaired using the FloMix Asphalt Repair System. The large concrete pad in front of the main terminal was surrounded by asphalt taxi-ways and runways. This large expanse of flexible pavement was prone to heaving or shunting which occurs when a flexible pavement expands with heat but doesn’t contract when cool. This leaves large mounds or bumps surrounding the concrete landing pad and are a concern for air traffic. Read more.
