We recently had our monthly sales meeting and we have been talking about making sure our customers are getting what they need and using what they get properly. There are times to use our products and times to use others. Roklin’s products are unique in that they work well in emergency repairs and last longer than traditional repairs. The up-front costs can be more, but the longevity makes it cheaper in the long-run.
There are applications where polyurethane repair materials will not work so it is important that we communicate where exactly to use FloMix, FlexSet and Concrete Welder. We don’t want to post on the site how not to use our products but we want to be sure that everyone who buys the product gets the repair that they need. We want our customers to be happy and their repairs to last a long time.
I got a notice in my word-a-day e-mail and someone commented on the meaning of a word and easily they can be misconstrued. When Michelangelo was carving Moses for Pope Julius II’s tomb he used a bible verse to guide him in his creation. When that bible was translated from Hebrew to Latin, the words were confused. Karan, meaning to emit light, was confused with keren, which means horns. Michelangelo went with this translation understanding that Moses had horns on his head rather than “Moses came down from Mount Sinai with a crown of light on his head.” So now we see the ancient statue in Rome with the horns. I would have loved to have seen the face of the pope who commissioned that work.
We want our customers to be happy with our products so we are committed to taking the time with customers, talking to them about their repair and making the best suggestions for them. We are upfront with our customers and have even had some that weren’t happy in the beginning. “What do you mean FlexSet isn’t the right product for my sloping driveway?” they say. But they trust us when they come back with cracks in their sidewalk and we tell them to use Concrete Welder. We are working on setting up skype links to our sales reps as well as providing office phones, cell phones and e-mails so that everyone can talk to a sales representative directly. And of course, you can alway reach us through our Web site.
We want to make sure you are getting the right product for the right repair and using it properly. We truly want happy customers, even if they end up being someone elses customer. I am planning on being a creative writing teacher for my Senior project. The problem is, I can’t think of a grade that kids start creative writing. I would rather deal with younger kids than older ones because in the end I want to give them a book of the classes collected works. I was thinking 3rd Grade, but I can’t remember when I started creative writing. Any and all help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

In California schools, children are encouraged to start writing as soon as they are able.
